Bursaries awarded to High School Graduates

Community Futures Mount Waddington awarded $1,000 bursary for post-secondary school or technical training to Carley Bobb, North Island Secondary School and Ella Waring, Port Hardy Secondary School at graduation ceremonies held June 7, 2014.

Bursary criteria includes demonstration of community involvement and entrepreneurial spirit through fund-raising, employment, work experience, promoting economic development or participating in the operation of a small business.  A 300 word essay on entrepreneurship or economic development awarded additional merits.
