Community Futures is part of a national economic development program that has been supporting rural-based small business and community economic development since 1986. There are 34 Community Futures offices throughout rural BC and 268 Community Futures offices across Canada.

Community Futures Mt. Waddington is a non-profit organization serving North Vancouver Island and the Central Coast. We are guided by a volunteer board of directors and staffed with business professionals.

Board of Directors

Community Futures Mt. Waddington is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of local business people who have extensive knowledge and experience of the regional economy and who are representative of the population and our main economic sectors.

The role of the Board is to establish our organization’s priorities, monitor our financial arrangements, oversee our general performance, and be accountable to key stakeholders, such as local, provincial and federal governments.

Need a meeting space? We’ve got it! Whether you need a small boardroom or a larger space, Community Futures has a room for you. All our meeting spaces include Wi-Fi, projector and screen, Meeting Owl and a conference phone for those who can’t be with you in the room.

  • Classroom

    Seating for 20 people in a traditional classroom format. Boardroom, pods or lecture style can accommodate up to 30 people.
